5 Questions That Determine If Customers Will Come Back
The best way an entrepreneur can retain dedicated customers is to keep them in mind and think of them as the real business; instead of the product or services offered. However, to keep customers in mind, here are some helpful questions to answer:
Do you know who your customers are? If a regular customer comes into your facility, would you recognize them and call them by their name?
Do your customers know who you are? If they see you, would they recognize you? Could they call you by name?
Do you go the extra mile for a good customer to satisfy their needs or include a thank-you note in a customer’s package? Do you send a birthday card or clip their article on your notice board when you see their name or photo in print; or write a congratulatory note when they get a promotion?
Are your customer son? Do you give them guidelines for what to say and do in every conceivable case?
Do you know what your customers think of your company? Do you know what they can say when discussing or telling others about your company?
All these are important questions that tell if you keep your customers on mind. We all like to feel someone by name is a very simple and polite way to do so; as it lets them know you value and appreciate them as customers. If a customer makes a request for something special, do everything you can to say yes, but when you can’t satisfy that need, simply let them know.
Give customers the benefit of doubt because proving to him or why he or she is wrong, and you right isn’t worth losing a customer over. You will never win an argument with a customer, and you should never ever put a customer in that position to ridicule you, your company or product.
