Unilever Excites the Markets with RGF

As part of efforts aimed at activating the Royco Goat meat flavour, Unilever Plc has been visiting several markets around Lagos, treating traders to the taste of the latest in the Royco flavours.

Speaking to M2 at Irepodun market, Ikotun, where the magazine caught up with the train, Mr. Fode Temiagin, of Ideas House, the agency responsible for the campaign said that the campaign train which has been to other major markets such as Ojuwoye in Mushin and the Trade Fair complex has come to Ikotun so as to give traders in that area a feel of the new flavour.

According to Temiagin, part of the activities lined up for the delight of consumers and traders include on the spot tasting of some delicacies prepared with RGF by traders.

In addition, traders who bought up to a carton of the new flavour get instant gifts. According to Temiagin, buying five cartons qualifies one for a RGF branded T-shirt while three cartons qualify one for a bowl. A carton gets one an exercise book.

The new Royco flavour adds to the variety of new flavours introduces to the market in recent times. Most traders however declined comments on the new flavour but expressed hope that the brand owners will take the campaign further by promoting it on electronic media.
