Vanguard Simplifies Online Adverts

In a bid to encourage small businesses in Nigeria, Vanguard newspaper online in conjunction with Txttoweb, has introduced a 24 hour online advertisement site.
The site will afford people the opportunity of sending adverts to the internet via a sms message code can be done to promote any type of product or service including jobs, events and cars. Speaking on the reason for the initiative a marketer for the advertising site who craved anonymity disclosed that the site will be providing a cheap means for people to advertise.
Explaining the mechanisms of sending the adverts, the source says; “All the advertiser needs to do is type a message of not more than 160 words, and send it to 33810. Though the message lasts for only 24 hours, it will go a long way because anyone who checks our website will definitely see the advert. ” He further explains that the message immediately pops up on the Vanguard Online home page. The rate is N50 per sms and the service is available on Glo, MTN and Zain networks.
