Registration Kicks-off for Nigeria Future Award Pre-Award Conference

As a way of developing practical programmes that can give young people access to knowledge, skills and experience that will generate positivism, the Red Strat team has begun the registration for the second edition of the annual Future Pre-Awards.
This year’s edition, tagged “Stop watching. Stop waiting. Stop wanting. Do something!”, is scheduled to hold on the 6th of February 2010 at the main hall of the popular Welcome Centre, International Airport Road, Ikeja.
According to the event’s Creative Director, Chude Jideonwo, the conference will give young people the opportunity to meet some of the most outstanding young Nigerians ever. “The conference idea started last year as an extension of our plans to use the Future Awards to focus on role modelling. And this year, the conference is broken down into three parts – the first, second and the third generation,” he says.
Speakers at this years conference includes the chairman and MD of Shell, Mutiu Sunmonu; the chairman of the Silverbird Group, Ben Bruce; Hon. Abike Dabiri; Mr. Gbenga Oyebode, who is chairman of Access Bank; Fela Durotoye; Tonye Cole of Sahara Energy, among others.
