Rebranding Nigeria Flag Raised in the UK -Kenneth O Eze
A team of patriotic Nigerians are raising the banner of a good image, and are marketing Nigeria to the world through the web platform in the United Kingdom (UK).
Oladimeji Adisa, the Coordinator of cometonigeria.com, who spoke with M2 during his visit to Nigeria last week, disclosed that the website was registered in the UK to promote the tourism potentials and good image of Nigeria.
He said the website has been attracting massive attention all over the world, with many expressing joy at the positive sides of the Nigeria on display at the website.
M2 gathered that the website shows the world the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria and attractive tourist sites that tourists can enjoy quality time at, at very cheap rates vis-à-vis other tourist locations around the world.
Adisa opines that Nigeria is a great nation, but needs to be properly packaged and presented to the world to attract the necessary attention. Pointing out that the so called developed countries have slums and downsides, he asks, “why do the international media not focus on these?”
He disclosed that cometonigeria.com, engages other websites that tend to be anti Nigeria, prompting updates, countering sensations, half-truths and wrong perceptions those websites peddle about Nigeria.
