Ohuabunwa Identifies Opportunities in Current Economic Recession

A member of the Nigeria Economic Summit and MD/CEO of Neimeth Pharmaceuticals, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa (MON), has identified areas of business opportunities in the ongoing economic recession.

Speaking at the 4th annual business seminar tagged ‘Economic Recession- Prospects and challenges’ and powered by the Business Summit Group (BSG) of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Ipaja, Lagos, July 18, Ohuabunwa pointed out business opportunities in both the public and private sectors of the economy.

According to him the ongoing public private sector partnership offers a wide range of business opportunities in such areas as infrastructures, education, health and services. He noted that the recession has cut down government’s income thereby forcing it to seek partnership with private investors.

In the private sector he identified such areas providing daily needs like foods and consumables goods, exportation which he said is quite cheap now, agro and agro allied services and products, security services and ICT among others.

He went further to offer wisdom tips for survival which, among other things, include leasing as opposed to buying, sticking to budget, justifying every expense and avoiding credit sales.
