Idea Builders to Boost SMEs

In a bid to aid manpower development, Idea Builders, a non profit organization is set to host a women mentoring symposium.
Speaking to M2 at her office, the MD, Mrs. Lucy Kanu, discloses that the event, which is scheduled to hold on the 26th of November, is aimed at promoting a sustained mentoring partnership for professionals in both the public and private sector. It also aims to empower young women professionals from the success stories of established entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, Mrs. Kanu says that “Idea Builders have empowered over 5000 women to start cottage businesses and over 2000 students in secondary schools on how to unlock their leadership potentials.”
The event which is to hold at the Agip Hall, Muson Centre, will be held in conjunction with other international agencies like FORTUNE/United States’ Department Global Women Leaders Mentoring Partnership among others.
The mentoring program will cut across Nigeria, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana and Argentina.
