ZoomMobile Retools to Challenge for Leadership

As part of ongoing repositioning, ZOOMmobile has strengthened its personnel to fortify its challenge for leadership in the telecom sector. The company has appointed Chux Agbaeze as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Agbaeze is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He brings to ZOOMmobile a 15 year experience gathered at Akintola Williams Deloitte.

Another senior entrant to the company is Sola Oladokun, who would be functioning as Chief Risk Control Officer (CRCO). Oladokun resumes at the pioneer division to head the newly created risk and control division.

Oladokun is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He was the former CFO and has been with ZOOMmobile since 2007.

Usman Amodu-Shuaibu becomes Head, Corporate Communication & Strategy. He will serve concurrently as the manager in charge of Strategic Planning and Business Development as well. Michael Gongul assumes a country-wide sales responsibility as the National Sales Manager. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, Gongul was the Head, Wholesale and Retail and has been with the company since 2006. A statement from the company’s Executive Vice Chairman, Ken Aigbinode, said the changes were initiated to ensure optimal returns to stakeholders.
