Swatch Switches On Goodies at Apapa
Swiss wristwatch maker, Swatch, last week, switched on its 12th outlet in Lagos at Goodies Supermarket, Apapa.
On the occasion, Bolaji Alamu, Swatch’s spokesperson, said the watch makers came to Apapa because of the city’s strategic place in commerce in Nigeria. He noted that the bulk of import and export activities revolve round Apapa, so “we brought Swatch to Apapa to bring it closer to discerning people that crave for quality at affordable prices.”
Swatch has 500 varieties of watches for people to select from, serving all segments of the society and as is offering discounts for the rest of July. The company is also backing up its traditional line with quality jewelleries to ensure that people of choice can buy gift items at a spot.
“This shop meets Swatch’s international standards; so you can be sure that what you find here is the same quality in every Swatch shop anywhere in the world,” he said.
