PZ Cussons Demonstrates Baby-Friendly Products

The mother-baby friendly products of the PZ Cussons were demonstrated last week at Africa’s most celebrated infant facility  the Lagos Island Maternity. Among the products demonstrated on babies and their mothers was the ‘Cussons Baby Gentle Care Wipes’.

Dr Akerele Opeyemi, the maternity’s Consultant-Paediatrician, under whose supervision the demonstrations were carried, said the wipes are good for both mother and baby. He recommended the wipes to mothers, as a way of reducing infant mortality, as according to him, new born babies face greater risk of surviving the first few hours on earth.

In his words: “Products like PZ Cussons gentle wipes that are alcohol free and enriched with pro-vitamin B5 clean and refresh baby’s soft and delicate skin, leaving it smooth and beautiful.”

In endorsing the product, Opeyemi pointed out that using a product that is not guaranteed to protect the tender skin of the baby can cause skin damage leading to health complications.
