NTDC Urged To Facilitate Easy Entry Procedures For Tourists

The National Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) has been told to facilitate easier entry procedure for prospective tourists who want to come into the country. The Director General of the Corporation, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, made this known to the press, insisting that the arrangement will encourage greater in-flow of tourists into the country.

According to him, “Tourist visa makes travelling easier for leisure and for the tourism business industry. Tourism visas are now obtainable in embassies around the world, which is to help tourists to easily access travel documents necessary for their planned trip.”

He also pointed out that the corporation has been working with the immigration agency. “I must commend the Controller General of Immigration. We are working together, and he is supporting our team. But we are calling on all stakeholders to be committed towards the development of the tourism industry in the country. The tourism corporation’s Chief Executive described the ongoing registration of hotels as very successful. He said that NTDC will continue enforcing the law until the laid down standards are attained.
