Nokia Opens First Experience Care Centre in Nigeria

Nokia mobile telecommunications has opened its first Experience Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Nokia Experience Care Centre is situated on Simbiat Abiola Road, Ikeja, Lagos, directly opposite Computer Village.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Silvin Sinan, Head, Nokia Care Experience Centre says that the centre is an opportunity to showcase what Nokia has.

“The Nokia Experience Care Centre will provide an opportunity for Nokia to showcase what it has to offer and get closer to its customers,” he says.

Ngozi Anene, Communications Manager, Nokia West Africa, highlighted the environmental need that influenced Nokia’s ‘Take Back Campaign’ and urged consumers to drop their abandoned Nokia phones at the designated points for recycling.

Richard Adewunmi of Standard Organisation of Nigeria reasons that resources would be wasted if owners of cell phones should discard them at a mere technical fault and commended Nokia for introducing a centre that will be taking care of their brands and receive old ones for recycling.
