Nigerian Celebs Usher in New Lux Beauty Soap

luxCelebrities from all walks of life, especially in the Nigerian entertainment and movie industry, graced the unveiling of the new variants of Lux beauty soap at Sheraton Hotels and Towers in Lagos, penultimate weekend.
The event tagged ‘Nite of Temptation’ attracted the presence of celebrities like Helen Ajayi (Miss Nigeria, 1979), Omowumi  Akinnifesi (former Miss Nigeria) Loveth Ajuofoh (the reigning Miss UNILAG), Doris Simeon (AMAA Award Best supporting actress, 2008), Ego (the popular Lagbaja songster) and Bukky Wright ( a Nollywood actress), among others.
Banky W and AY swayed everybody present with music and comedy respectively.
Speaking at the event, Thomas Boedinger, MD, Unilever Nigeria Plc. Says: “The launch of the new Lux variants is coming on the heels of Unilever’s mission of adding vitality to life by meeting everyday needs for nutrition, hygiene and personal care with brands that help people feel good, look good and get more out of life.”
Helen Ajayi, in her presentation, explains that nature can always do with a little help.
“I am proud to note that since 1923 Lux Beauty soap has always been around to enhance nature by helping every woman enjoy getting beautiful, accentuate her feminine details and give a memorable indulgent experience,” she says.
The Lux variants include, Lux Peach & Cream, Lux Strawberry & Cream, Lux Nut & Cream and Lux Even Glow, all with promises of leaving the skin of consumers better.
