Many Branding Avenues yet Untapped – Brand World

Following the spate of different musical shows being sponsored by brands in and outside Lagos, Clara Okoro, Executive producer, Brand World, has said that it is time brand owners became more enlightened on branding activities.

Speaking with M2, she says “Not that I disagree with the use of music as a branding activity, it’s just that there are so many other avenues that are yet to be tapped into by brand owners and their managers.”

She further states that though she knows that many agencies handling accounts for different brands have creative ideas, their efforts are hampered by the clients who in most cases do not want to risk trying new activities, but would rather stick to the conventional.”

Mentioning that other avenues which could be tapped into include excellent customer relations and travel, Okoro admonishes that agencies will have to continue encouraging their clients to test ‘fresh waters’ because it is through such avenues that their creativity would be given full recognition.
