Malta Guinness Premiers New TV Commercial

Malta Guinness, a premium non-alcoholic malt drink, recently premiered its new Television commercial, themed world up, coined from the slang what’s up, in Lagos, Enugu and Benin.
According to the Marketing Manager of Malta Guinness, Miss Cherry Eromosele, the commercial is the brand’s reaction to the feedback from its target consumers. Speaking at the event, she said, “Our consumers are king, and we understood from the feedback we got that, their trend is hip-hop, and they need a brand that will connect with them on that level.”
She further disclosed that the commercial is premiered with the consumers at heart. “We want them to be the first to see it before it goes to the general public,” she said.
Also speaking at the event, the Brand Manager of Malta Guinness, Mr. Innocent Oboh, said that the commercial was shot in different part of Africa, featuring collaboration between hip-hop producers in Nigeria and New York. It also featured Ibrahim, the Leader of Soul Quest, winner of Malta Guinness Street Dance2008; a South African, as the lead character; and dancers from Ghana and Cameroon.
“We are using hip-hop music with the fusion of street dance to bring to life the goodness, energy and vitality stuck in our consumers to become a kinetic energy that will move them to the top of their world,” he disclosed.
