Ideas Carnival Holds Screening

The South-West zone screening for The Ideas Carnival held recently at the Banquet hall of Etal Hotels and Halls, Apapa, hosting youths from various works of life including caterers, agriculturalists, technicians, musicians, accountants and engineers.

The screening gave the youths the opportunity to showcase in anticipation for a place at the Ideas Carnival grand finale.

Present at the screening were Engineer Majekodunmi of Kresta Laurel, Mr. Demola Adedoyin of Messages Inc, Mr John Oluwagbemiga of Practix Consulting and Mr. Tunde Fasanya of Bold Ark, amongst other judges. While an employment opportunity for 3 Engineers/ Technicians was pledged by Kresta Laurel, Mr Oluwagbemiga gave a motivational lecture on some principles of life. Mr. Adedoyin also gave words of encouragement, admonishing the youths to seek within them what they have been destined to be and not rest on their oars.

According to the organizers, the initiative has encouraged many industries to support through the provision of financial aid, employment opportunities, exposure and training to talented youths who displayed great skills at the screening.

The grand finale of the Ideas Carnival comes in July.
