Glo Gives N17M To Clergyman, 7 Others In Benin

Last week, National Telecom Operator, Globacom presented a cheque of N10 milllion to Rev. Alex Iduh of the Church of God Mission, Benin, who emerged winner of the second monthly draw in the on-going Glo ‘text 4 millions” super promo.

The telecom giant also gave out seven other cheques of N1million each to its subscribers who won in the promo which has so far produced over 65 millionaires at its weekly Laffta Fest show organized by the company to reward its loyal subscribers.

The Mediterranean Hall of Da Civic Centre, Benin erupted in jubilation as relations, friends and members of the Church Of God Mission, Benin, trooped to the stage to felicitate with Rev. Iduh.

The dignitaries in attendance, among whom were the Edo State Commissioners for Finance, Hon. John Inegbebor and his counterpart in the Ministry of Arts and Culture, Barr. Vincent Oseyangbonaye, showered praises on Globacom for putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians, especially at this time of global economic meltdown.

The winners in the ‘text 4 millions’ promo who included artisans, traders and civil servants, said they had kept unflinching faith with the promo since it started over two months ago by persistently playing, even when they did not win initially in the daily, weekly and monthly draws because of their conviction that the promo is real.
