FG Reconstitutes New National Productivity Award Committee
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode (SAN), last week, inaugurated a new 16 members committee on National Productivity Order of Merit Award Committee. Speaking to the press, the Minister said that the Federal Government decided to inaugurate the new committee in order to bring about development in the industrial sector of the Nigeria’s economy.
He further said that with the committee, Nigerians can be rest assured that outstanding entrepreneurs would be identified and rewarded, especially as Nigerians are eager, and working hard to realize her economic adjectives of the vision 2020. In his words, “Government is desirous to improve on the social economic development of the country and therefore finds it necessary to always identify and reward outstanding entrepreneurs, especially as the country is more eager in realizing the economic adjectives of the vision 2020, with the hope of making Nigeria one of the 20 largest economies in the world.”
