Ebisemiju Moves To ESSPIN

Bankole Ebisemiju, a  former Correspondent and Media Editor with the Guardian Newspaper for close to a decade (1991  2000), has yet again moved within his new found love of working with international organizations.

Ebisemiju, who until recently  worked with WaterAid Nigeria as the  Programme Manager, Civil Society and Media,  recently  joined the  DFID’s Education  Sector Support Programme in Nigeria (ESSPIN) as  Communications and Knowledge Management Coordinator.

His new responsibility will include contributing to the development and implementation of the ESSPIN communications strategy along with relevant key players within the ESSPIN technical team and senior management.

According to information available to M2, the management of the ESSPIN brand in the area of developing and driving strategies to ensure effective delivery of the set objectives of the Communications and Knowledge Management department rest on his shoulders.

Ebisemiju left journalism to join USAID/OTI Nigeria, Lagos as Media Specialist/Programme Manager between 2000 and 2001. Ever since, he has been on the international job scene.
