David Crisp Appointed Managing Director of DDB Lagos
David Crisp is now charged with the responsibility of managing DDB Lagos and its blue chip clients as he takes the saddle as the Managing Director of DDB.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing communications, Mr Crisp has a proven track record of success in creating award winning campaigns, managing teams and generating creative and effective solutions for clients.
From trainee to Main Board Director, Crisp began his career at J. Walter Thompson (JWT) in London, working on some of the world’s most famous brands such as Nestlé, Kellogg’s, Rolex and National Westminster Bank, among others
He has over the last 17 years, travelled and worked in global advertising agencies all over the world. He has worked as Senior Regional MD with Ogilvy & Mather in Düsseldorf, in Bahrain as MD for Memac Ogilvy & Mather and also for BBDO in Cyprus and Beirut, as MD and Deputy MD respectively.
David succeeds Enyi Odigbo, who will now assume duties as Chairman of DDB and President of Casers Group – the parent company of DDB, Capital Media, Magenta and WOO Interactive. “We are delighted to have David join DDB and to help build it into a World-Class agency”, said Odigbo. “I am confident that with his wealth of experience and proven leadership, he will contribute significantly to our new business model that will make every brand we work with the most influential in its category.”
