Castle Milk Stout Debuts in Lagos

Pabod Breweries Ltd (PBL), a subsidiary of SABMiller, has introduced Castle Milk Stout (CMS) into the Lagos market.
Johan De Kok, the managing director of PBL, while addressing the media on the innovation maintains that his company to offering quality choice to consumers. “We are still committed to our goals at PBL of producing high quality products for the nation. The long awaited entry of Castle Milk Stout into Lagos is sure to generate waves of excitement in the overall Nigerian market,” he says.
Samori Gambrah, head of marketing, noted that the company “Discerning consumers strive for a quality tasting stout they can be proud of. Castle Milk Stout is brewed with the Nigerian consumer in mind.”
Also speaking at the occasion, Jos-Benn Donkor, PBL’s commercial manager opined; “We believe CMS will be received by the Nigerian consumer as it is less bitter and a more premium alternative to other stouts in the market.”
It was also revealed that radio commercials, in-bar promotions and other experiential events will be employed in communication strategies to position the brand in the minds of potential consumers.
