APGN holds August knowledge session
The Account Planning Group of Nigeria (APGN), a member of the global planning group (apg.org.uk), last Tuesday, held its August knowledge session at the Sheraton Hotels, Lagos Nigeria.
In a welcome address made by the APGN President, Michael Christopher Adeyanju, he says that “the ambition of the association is principally to be a world class knowledge capacity building institution for marketing and communication planning practitioners in Nigeria and indeed West Africa,” adding that there are so many benefits to be derived by members of the association. “As a member of the association you will have regular updates on global trends in different aspect of consumer lifestyles.”
The knowledge session had in attendance highly placed practitioners from the marketing agencies, advertising agencies, events planning agencies, corporate organizations and the media.
A strategy masterclass, with the subject – The Central Role of Planning in Turbulent Times, was facilitated by George Thorpe of Market Space. The subject designed to bring to vanguard the role of Marketing Heads, was well treated and ended with the facilitator asking a ‘food for thought’ question “how is the crown prince doing?”
The APGN in the next five months will be holding sessions every month and presentations made at the sessions will be compiled and documented for reference.
