FMBN Re-Brands

In a bid to re-brand and reposition its self, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) has organized a re-branding orientation workshop for its staff.
According to Otunba Wemmy Osude, an Executive Director with the Bank, “the workshop is to discuss and carry our staff along on the re-branding project of FMBN. There are things we need to communicate to our staff at the workshop so that they can also buy into the new idea and be carried along to be able to implement all the changes that we are bringing to bear on the new organization”.
Speaking at the event, Kabir Dangogo, Chairman, Timexintermedia Ltd says the re-branding process is to help reposition the bank and the workshop will enable them correct some of the internal and external perceptions that will change the costumer’s expectation towards the brand.
A new employee of the bank, Nwankwo Cosmos, says “we had consultants speak to us on different marketing ideas in respect of re-branding a new product. With this exposure, we can go back to work and put some of the strategies we’ve learnt to use.”
Akin Adeoya, Publisher of M2 Magazine and CEO of Marketing Mix, spoke on Marketing and Promoting a New Product at the event. Other speakers include: Emeka Maduegbuna, CEO Corporate & Financial Communications Ltd and Taiwo Ola Jnr, CEO, Timex intermedia Ltd.
