Entry Deadline for Festival of Media Award Extended

The entry deadline for all categories of the fourth edition of the annual Festival of Media Award has been extended to 5th of February 2010.
The award which will hold in April will gather the global media and marketing industry to recognize the best in media thinking and communication strategy worldwide in a Gala Dinner at the City of Art & Science in Valencia, Spain. The event is organized in association with Advertising Age.
Entries are to be judged by a jury representing a wealth of experience in media, marketing, creativity and content production. The awards jury is chaired by Bernhard Glock, former global media director of P&G and president of the World Federation of Advertisers.
The Festival of Media Awards recognizes that media expertise no longer resides in a single location. Entrants for the awards can come from a variety of organizations from the obvious suspects like media agencies, full service agencies, specialist digital agencies and advertisers to unique outfits such as social network application developers, mobile agencies, content creators, production companies and more.
The category of awards to be won includes Best Communication/Entertainment Platform, Best Communications Strategy, the Consumer Benefit Award, The Award for Media Bravery, Best Event/Activation and Best Use of Content.
