Cadbury Flags off Tom Tom Stripes Groove

In line with its promise to continually provide soothing relief to Nigerians, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, makers of Tom Tom, have come up with a show tagged Tom Tom Stripes Groove which will commence from the 16th of July 2010.
Speaking to newsmen at the company premises recently, Paul Udoji, Sales Controller, emphasized that patronage from loyal consumers has been the pillar behind the outstanding performance, leadership, integrity and strong heritage that has made Tom Tom Nigeria’s No. 1 candy. He also avers that consumers see entertainment as the greatest source of relief and so Tom Tom is geared to provide them with this as part of programmes to mark its 40 years of soothing Nigerians.  According to him, “consumers are in for an exciting experience as big names in the industry are set to thrill them.
While fielding questions from the media, Bimbo Alabi, Senior Brand Manager of Medicated Candy, disclosed that Tom Tom has touched many lives at some point or the other. Asides providing relief from cold, the candy brand also provides four major benefits to Nigerians; it is in charge of the Zebra crossing enlightenment programme; provides signage at every Zebra crossing, donates N5 per every 900gm pack sold to charity, and supports the development of African football. Tom Tom also championed the usage of seatbelts in the 80′s.
Top artistes billed for the July event and present at the briefing include Tuface, D’banj, Timaya, Austino Milado, Banky W, and D Prince. The show will be compeered by popular comedian, Koffi.
