Brilla FM Gets Rights to Sky Sports

Brilla FM appears set to raise the stakes in sports broadcasting following a recent deal which gives it exclusive rights to broadcast content from Sky Sports UK in Nigeria .
Expressing joy at the achievement, Larry Izamojie aka Big Larry, owner of Brilla FM, says “We thank God for the opening. We had some talks with the Sky Sports community, agreed to their terms and now a great partnership has started.”
He explains the reasons for going into the partnership “Many times we try to get interviews with the stars but it seems to be a difficult task. What this partnership means for us is that Sky Sports will get to the places we cannot. They will do the talking and we will do the broadcasting. We will be receiving signals on every content from their UK office. However, our in-house editors will decide which is suitable for the audience here in Nigeria .”
He also assures local stakeholders that content will be streamlined to match local tastes, saying “While trying to please our audience we will make sure we adhere strictly to the broadcasting code of the NBC.”
