Brand Expert Frowns at Ice Cream Factory Diversification

Abrand expert has expressed reservations about the decision by Ice Cream Factory, a poplar Ice creams outlet on the Island, to diversify into the fast food genre following it decision to start selling snacks and other kinds of food and drinks.
M2 gathered that the decision which is a recent one is to cash in on the popularity and huge patronage the brand has been enjoying since it began business.
Kenny Badmus, a brand expert and Chief Imagination Officer of Orange Academy, a brand training institution, says the diversification is ill-advised because it will weaken the core brand offer of the outfit which is widely accepted for its quality and varied brand of ice cream.
“I’m warning them not deviate from the brand experience they have created over time,” Badmus said.
