APCON to Partner Akunyili on Rebranding Nigeria

APCON is to partner the Ministry of Information and Communications professionally and socially to actualise the effort of the Ministry at giving Nigeria a befitting image.
This stance was declared by Mr. Chris Doghudje, Chairman of APCON, while receiving Prof Dora Akunyili, Minster of Information and Communications on a condolence visit to Mr. Funmi Onabolu, the President of AAAN, over the death of his father, Rev Solomon Onabolu.
Speaking at the occasion, Akunyili commended the role played by the AAAN in the rebranding Nigeria project, saying that “the contribution is very important and cannot be ignored.”
On his part, Doghudje thanked her for the support and the recognition she accords APCON and the Advertising industry in Nigeria.
Also speaking at the condolence visit, Alh Garba Bello Kankarofi, Registrar of APCON thanked the Minister for her humility, resilience and concern for the deceased’s family.
Responding on the condolence, the AAAN President, Mr. Funmi Onabolu expressed delight at the visit especially as it was being the first time a Minister of the Federation would visit the headquarters of AAAN.
