All Eyes On Dominic Kimani

All eyes are on Dominic Kimani, the marketing director, Unilever Nigeria Plc as he throws open for pitch the company’s activation/event & PR businesses.
Unilever Nigeria Plc at the beginning of last week announced its interest in hiring new activation/events and PR management companies to partner with it in delivering experiential activations in the Nigerian market.
This throws open for contest the businesses that have as incumbents Integrated Troops and EXP among others as activations agencies, with Marketing Mix and The Quadrant Company taking care of the PR needs of the conglomerate.
At the close of the first week of Unilever’s call for submission of bids, M2′s checks reveal that about 30 companies have already indicated interests by submitting letters of intention along with credentials.
As at press time on Friday, it was however not clear if the incumbent agencies have indicated interest to be part of the up-coming pitch exercise.
As the Unilever call for submission of entries is expected to lapse Friday, January 29, 2010, all eyes are on the marketing director as he throws the marketing challenge open to Nigerian agencies.
