About To Wed Increases Nigerian Viewership
Season Two of About To Wed, which hit the airwaves of Silverbird Television (STV) and Television Continental (TVC) a few weeks back has been gathering viewership as more Nigerians now have opportunity to view the drama.
Findings by M2 reveal that the introduction of two Nigerians Uche Sam Anyamele and Uzor Osimkpa – into the cast of the television drama has further endeared the programme to the teeming Nigerian audience.
It will be recalled that the current season was shot in the last quarter of last year at a location inside Magodo, Lagos. The producers say the first season enjoyed widespread acclaim amongst television buffs prompting calls for the second season.
Royal Roots Communications Network brought the duo of Beverly Afaglo and Prince David Osei into the country to pair Anyamele and Osimkpa and create more excitement.
