Sade Adu Plans Comeback With New Album

Sade Adu is set to storm the music scene again with a new album she has titled Soldier of Love,  a follow up to Lover’s Rock, her effort in 2000. The album is to be released on February 8, 2010.

Soldier of love is produced by Adu herself, alongside a longtime collaborator, Mike Pela. Adu has sold more than 50 million records since her debut in London in 1983, winning three Grammy Awards in the process.

Each of their five previous albums has peaked in the top ten of the US albums chart, while all but one has repeated the feat in the UK.

Born to a Nigerian father and English mother in Ibadan, Oyo State; after her parent’s separation, the singer moved to the UK and has made a mark  as one of  soul music genre’s musical greats.
