Nigeria Model Achievers Awards Debuts

Frontline modelling agency, Mic Dunamis Global Concept, has intensified plans geared towards the hosting of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Model Achievers Awards. With the theme “Brand De Model”, the award offers a platform to celebrate models, brands and unusual creativity in advertisement.

The Nigeria Model Achievers Awards will be giving out awards to deserving models and brands, as well as the brains behind the creative essence in different advertising agencies bothering on conceptualization, photography, make-up, branding, directing and all the behind-the-scene forces that have contributed immensely to the growth of the modelling industry. Slated to hold in September, at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, the event promises to be one of the biggest award events in recent times.

According to the CEO of MIC Dunamis Global Concept and publisher of 9jatopmodels magazine, Mr. Mike Igbe, recording success at the recently held 9ja Top Models Nite, assures that Nigeria Model Achievers Awards, will be an annual event that has come to stay. “NMAA is our own way of contributing to the growth of the modelling industry, which we at Mic Dunamis have participated as an active player for almost a decade now,” he said.

Already, nominations for the awards have started via SMS and online participation. Awards will be given in about 28 different categories which include Nigeria Model of the year (Male), Nigeria Model of the year (Female), Nigeria Photogenic Model of the year (Male), Nigeria Photogenic Model of the year (Female), Nigeria Best Runway Model of the year (Male), Nigeria Best Runway Model of the year (Female), Nigeria Most Promising Model of the year (Male), Nigeria Most Promising Model of the year (female), Nigeria Most Outstanding Modelling Agency of the year, Nigeria Best Advertising Agency of the Year etc.
