Lockdown Entertainment Set to Storm Lagos with Music Mix

tibit-33Plans have advanced at Lockdown Entertainment to storm the Lagos television audience with its 9ja-centric music programme Music Mix.

“We are concluding discussions with the management of Television Continental (TVC) to telecast Music Mix. Guess what? We promise that people will be thrilled, because we are bringing to them what they have not seen before!” These were the words of Andy Bello, the chief executive officer of the company, during a chat with M2 last week.

Bello disclosed that the outfit is plans to explore the Lagos market and expose artistes of South-South stock to the large market and big stage that the Lagos audience represent.

He claimed that he was lured into music after training as a Lawyer because it fell naturally to him. He also wanted an avenue to redirect the energy of youths in the South-South region of Nigeria towards positive productive purposes, instead of violence.

He said the television audience should expect a “wow” from artistes of the South-South, whom he claimed has the ability to match their contemporaries from any part of the world “lyrics for lyrics, style for style and swagger for swagger.”
