Jimmy Jatt, Dakore to Compere Best of Nollywood Awards
Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt and hot actresses, Dakore Egbuson, have emerged as the surprise comperes for the Best of Nollywod Awards which holds on Sunday December 6, 2009 at the Martinos Hotel and Hall.
According to the publisher of the magazine, Seun Oloketuyi, “we decided to use both tested and trusted entertainers,” as they fit perfectly into the status of the awards which has been tagged ‘Desire Nothing More’.
The Best of Nollywood Awards, which is an initiative of Best of Nollywood magazine, is a celebration of the achievement of those who have distinguished themselves in the movie industry in 2008. 25 awards will be given out at the event, comprising 19 awards in different categories and 6 special recognition awards for people who have distinguished themselves in the industry and act as role models to aspiring film makers.
The awards event has the support of Quatar Airlines, Skye Bank, Ogun State government and Ali Baba. The pre awards party holds at Eunice Balogun Street in Victoria Island, Lagos. It will be an opportunity for the nominees to loosen up and also receive their Certificate of Nomination while the winners will be treated to a splendid time at the after party, which holds at Mcoast Niteclub.
