I’ll always keep Busy – Darey

Award-winning Nigerian R’n'B sensation, Dare Art Alade, has said he’ll always keep busy doing what he knows how to do best – making music. That, no doubt, explains the array of chart bursting hits and videos he’s been churning out in recent times.
Speaking with M2 recently in Lagos, he says, “At the moment, I’m in the studios working on my fresh album which will appeal to the international market. So, presently, I’m shuttling between the gym and Studio, trying to stay fit and healthy and at the same time working on making songs that will always appeal to my fans.”
Another thing that could also keep the artiste’s mind busy is his recent nomination for the MAMAs Awards. Having been nominated alongside Akon, Beyonce and Loyiso in the Best R&B category, Darey says, “Though I am open to anything that comes my way, I am expectant and hopeful.”
On his take as regards what can be done to better the Nigerian music industry, Darey quips, “We all see what is happening around the world and we are all working towards it, from marketing to promotion, and from curtailing piracy to PR to management.”
Darey, in the last one year alone, has released about five top-of-the-range singles and videos into Nigerian radio and TV airwaves, as well as international TV channels like MTV-Base and Channel O.
Darey’s sophomore album titled UnDAREYted was released earlier in the year.
