Gulder Ultimate Search VI: What Do We Really Expect?

This week, the struggle continues for the 10 heroes who ventured into the legendry Ondo forest in Agba in Osun State. The fact that the search is taking place in the forest would have made them prepare their minds for the worst. Notwithstanding, some things cannot but shock.

In the days that the contest has lasted, the contestants have been adapting to the “open heavens” as the torrents of rain pour on the plains, valleys and mountains.

The initial couple of days rolled by without food for them, and with no fire to cook what was available. Some resorted to prayers and heavenly supplications, while Vivian and Chuks created an illusion of eating pounded yam. Debby won’t mind cooking, while Wale complained of pangs of hunger. That was then.

Now all this have been forgotten, as evictions keep knocking on the door. The question then is: Do we have a prospective winner yet? Or is it too early to speculate? The best thing is to wait and see as events unfold.

However, many observers have commented on the calibre of contestants in this year’s Gulder Ultimate Search, saying they seem to have less vigour than some of the previous editions. That is their opinion though, but it does seem like the excitement is waning.
