GT’s Album Finally Makes a Grand Entry

On Christmas Eve, December 24 2009, the long-anticipated album of critically acclaimed singer GT The Guitarman was formally launched in Lagos at a media and VIP event packed full with hundreds of excited fans.  
The official launch held at Saipan, Victoria Island, with DJ Neptunes spinning songs and the Storm 360 family present, including Sasha P, Naeto C, Sauce Kid and General Pype. The Storm CEO, Obi Asika, and his newly wedded wife also took time off to celebrate their latest star. Other guests included Gloria Ibru, Dayo Adeneye, Da Grin and others.
The event kicked off at 11pm with veteran host Olisa Adibua as compere. In true Storm fashion and without wasting time, GT came up stage to open the event. With a band in tow, it was one hour  of the finest of professional music.
“GT is one of the finest artistes of his time,” Obi Asika, CEO of Storm 360, GT’s label, said during the event. “His music is pure, his lyrics are tight, and he is committed to doing things professionally, making his music cut across markets. He definitely showed what he is about today and we were immensely proud to be part of the unveiling of a true star.”
