Gov. Raji Fashola, Others Recognized at the NMAA

tibits-3The Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), received a special recognition awards for Dynamic Role Model (Governance) at the just concluded Nigeria Model Achievers Awards (NMAA) 2009.

The event, its maiden edition, kicked off with series of activates to finally end with the award ceremony amidst a fashion show on Friday, October 23rd, at the Balmoral Hall, Oregun, Ikeja. 29 awards were given out, with recognition awards given to six prominent people in the industry

The Production House of the year went to Ark Recourses; Male and Females Model of the Year went to Chisom Maurice and Tinuade Adejokun respectively. Model Ambassador Of The Year went to Oluchi  Onweagba, while the Most Promising Female Model Of The Year went to Inoma Ifeoma. Advertising Agency of the Year went to Verdant Zeal, while Fashion House of the Year to Mudi.

The special recognition awards include the awards given to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) and Governor Alhaji Shema Ibrahim (Kastina State) as Dynamic Role Models (Governance); Model Achiever (Financial Crimes) Award given to HON. Nnanna Uzor Kalu; Model Achiever award given to Mr. Marvel Akpoyibo (Lagos Police Command) and the NMAA Entertainment Icon award given to Mr. Ben Murray Bruce.

Nigerian Models Achievers Awards (NMAA) was organized by Mic Dunamic Global Concepts to celebrate Nigerian Models for their roles in advertising and services rendered for the development of brands, products and fashion. The event was aimed at changing the face of modeling in Africa.
