9ice Separates from Wife

Konga aso crooner, Nice has separated from his wife, Toni Payne, after one and half years of marriage. Information reaching M2 has it that the star’s Public Relations representative officially released a press statement which confirmed that the duo remain separate for the meantime.
 According to the representative, they will however continue to be good friends and business partners and their baby, Zion, will remain with the mum for now.
Both 9ice and Toni Payne therefore asked that their privacy be respected as they both will not grant any interviews to the press.
It will be recalled that 9ice and Toni met in 2006 at Gbenga Adeyinka’s 10th anniversary party which held at motherland in Opebi. Their affair culminated in marriage when they wedded at a Surulere registry in Lagos on Thursday, July 17, 2008. Their baby, Zion was born on Thursday December 4, 2008 at Presbyterian hospital, Southern California, United States of America.
